Sports, Culture and Leisure Center in the Gleisfeld

This project Irma Radoncic and I, Paul Grieguszies designed, manifests itself in the Züri West complex, which at the moment is a site for many tall buildings which represent the city as a business metropole like the Prime Tower or Renaissance building. These buidlings privatise the space and turn it to exclusive estate. Our design is on a exclusive territory, in the center of the tracks. It is for the people of Zurich, including art exhibition spaces, catwalks, sport halls, a pool, bouldering, you name it, a public building that gives the West back to the public. References are the SESC Pompeia by Lina Bo Bardi, the Down-Town Athletic Club and the SBB buildings by Max Vogt.

Dieses Projekt, das Irma Radoncic und ich, Paul Grieguszies, entworfen haben, manifestiert sich im Züri-West-Komplex, der im Moment viele hohe Gebäude beherbergt, die die Stadt als Geschäftsmetropole wie den Prime Tower oder das Renaissance-Gebäude darstellen.
